May 30, 1964 – December 18, 2020

RoseAnn Green, 56, of Tulalip went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2020. She was born in Darrington, WA on May 30, 1964. RoseAnn loved to travel and lived many places such as California, New Mexico, Hawaii, Wyoming, although her true home was Darrington and Tulalip Washington. 

RoseAnn saw the world as her canvas. She traveled so much that it would be impossible to name all of the places she’d gone. Her favorite trips were to see her daughter Tanya and the grandkids. These took her to Germany, Spain, Colorado, and Idaho! An especially proud moment in her life was when her daughter received her MBA degree. She always boasted that her son Jeff was a gentle, intellectual soul and was always there for her. She was so happy when he found love and married Jennifer. RoseAnn loved watching cooking shows and would make versions of what she saw then deliver them to the lucky recipient. Her dishes and appetizers were always a hit at gatherings, including cooking dishes for Darrington funeral dinners. 

RoseAnn loved the Seahawks; she recorded every game. Go Hawks! Her beloved dog Winston was always by her side and ready for a ride. She was a generous person who always found ways to give her time to others, whether it was an event, helping a friend or helping her parents during the pandemic. RoseAnn loved her leadership roles with the Tulalip Tribes. She was highly intelligent, a problem solver and loved organizing. She was athletic and enjoyed softball, cheerleading, and golf! She really enjoyed playing slots at the casinos and loved reading books. RoseAnn did not want the spotlight but she always lit up the room when she walked in. She made friends easily and brought joy wherever she went. 

She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Burns; and husband, Elliott, of Arlington; son, Jeffrey Sharp and wife Jennifer, of Tulalip; dad, Neil Green, Sr. and wife Nancy, of Darrington; mom, Eleanor Nielsen and husband Eddie, sister, Linda Aranda and husband Carlton; brothers, Brad Green and Neil Green Jr., all of Tulalip; sister, Nina Reece, of Arlington; sister, Teresa Meece and husband Richard, of Darrington; and the lights of her life her grandchildren, Brooklan and Remi. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and tons of cousins.
RoseAnn is reunited in Heaven with her brother, David Hunter; nephew, James Michael Emhoolah; maternal grandparents, Bernice Sheldon Williams and John Miller; paternal grandparents, Roy Green and Maggie Green; and her best friend, Cynthia “Sindy” Kay King.
We were not ready for RoseAnn to leave us, but God called her away. RoseAnn will be deeply missed by her family and friends. There will not be a funeral proceeding due to COVID-19 restrictions, but a gathering will be planned and held at a later date. Arrangement entrusted to Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.

December 24, 1944 – December 18, 2020

He was a good man. George K. Tsoodle 1. He was born December 24, 1944 to loving parents Dora Autobo & Henry James Tsoodle, in Mountainview Oklahoma. He was a member of the Kiowa tribes of Oklahoma.

He made it to the 7th grade, but began working at the age of 9. His passion for fixing things guided him through multiple careers from moving furniture, Welco lumber co. security at theTulalip casino & ended his career with the Tulalip tribes after working 18 years in July 2020 after retiring he built a pig farm & spent the rest of his days maintaining it at home. He was a spiritual believer. His dedication to the smokehouse helped many lives created many spiritual children. Like Walter Bradley, Rosalie Topaum, and many others he followed Kenneth Moses SR & JR along the coast, to help with their spiritual work. His passion in sports introduced him to his wife Vickie Tsoodle and made him into a very passionate softball coach to his daughters and the fellow girls who played on the their teams. He continued his unlimited support for sports when his grandchildren played basketball, softball or whatever it was they decided to play. Since the beginning he has been an avid Seahawks fan, the original 12th man.

Preceded in death by his mother Dora Autobo and his father Henry James Tsoodle his siblings Hawley Tsoodle vena J. waters Annamae Clawson Russell T. Tsoodle his nephew Joey Brungardt and his grandson Sateshon R. Conway and many loved ones. Survived by his wife Vickie Tsoodle and his daughters Paula Tsoodle Mel Tsoodle Jk Tsoodle Dorthera (Diya) Tsoodle and his grandchildren George Tsoodle 2 Jayson Tsoodle Jessyca Tsoodle Roxanne Conway Jakeb Conway Joann Ancheta Candace Tsoodle Iissaya Ancheta Dora Conway Aarron Tsoodle-Miller Sylus Edwards Berta Conway Dalilah Tsoodle-Jones Zackary Jones Ezekial Tsoodle-Edwards Abrielle Tsoodle-Jones great grandkids Seria Ahlberg Gabrial Tsoodle Kain Tsoodle-Ahlberg Tiana Tsoodle-Ahlberg leviathan Tsoodle-Ahlberg Sahale Conway Sire Conway and his siblings chuck Tsoodle Geneva Brungardt Al Tsoodle Susan perish and numerous Nieces, nephews, friends and family. George and Vickie were married for 48 years sorely be missed by many.

May 25, 1995 – December 17, 2020

Kelly Cashmere Moses Jr was born May 25th, 1995 and made his way to the other side December 17th, 2020. Kelly was born to his father and Mother, Kelly R. Moses Sr and Marcella Moses.

Kelly loved long-boarding, writing, drawing, being outdoors, traveling to winter pow wows, and was an inspiring photographer. Growing up Kelly was never seen without his best friend, Brian O’day. Always both together and one was never seen without the other. Kelly had humorous and outgoing nature that made him stand out in a crowd. Kelly always had an endless compassion towards others and a quality that made him compassionate towards animals.

Kelly is survived by his father and mother, Kelly R. Moses Sr. And Marcella Moses, Daughter Evelyn Zephar Moses, Brother Walter Moses and sister-in-law Irene Moses, Sisters Angela Peltier and brother-in-law Timothy Peltier, and Elizabeth Moses and brother-in-law Jason Kaestner. Special friend Jess Moses, Special aunties Carolyn Moses and Millie Russell, special nephew, whom he help raise and name, Mordecai Moses and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Kelly is proceeded in death by his grandfather Victor Moses Sr. And Esther Moses, Harvey Russell Sr. and Francis Russell. Uncles, Victor Moses Jr., Mark Moses, Kim Moses, Raymond Moses, Lavelle Russell, and Monty Russell. His best animal companion, “Lucy”.

Graveside service Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at 10:00 AM, Tulalip Beach Cemetery. Immediate family only and strict COVID-19 restrictions will be in place.

October 15, 1950 – November 13, 2020

Robert (Bob) Lee Power at the age of 70 passed away peacefully at Providence Hospital in Everett, WA 11/13/2020, with loved ones by his side. 

Bob is survived by his mother; Dorothy (Hawkins) Power; brother Paul Power; children: Ivy Guss, Selena Guss, Robert Guss, and Anthony Power. Also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and close friends. 

Bob was preceded in death by his father; Paul Power; brother Bill Power; sons Albert Power, and John Gibson.

Bob was loved and adored by so many and will be greatly missed. He was a kind hearted man, who loved his family and friends beyond words, he showed us in so many ways. 

He was somebody who was always willing to help where needed. A man of many talents, from being an amazing mechanic, who also had an extreme love for old muscle cars, to building wood furniture back in his school age years which his mother still has the honor of using in her home today. 

Bob was the best father, son, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend anybody could ask for.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Mission Beach Cemetery in Tulalip. Arrangements entrusted to Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.

Sunrise July 15, 1922 Sunset November 11, 2020

Blanche Helen Coy James, age 98, the oldest Tulalip Tribal Elder, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 with her beloved family by her side. Blanche was an avid snow skier who loved gardening and a faithful devoted follower of our lord Jesus Christ. She dedicated her life to her family, and her greatest joy and achievement was to see her family grow and spend time with them. Blanche was preceded in death by her daughter, Louise Brown. 

Blanche is survived by her loving children, Larry James (Gina James), Gayle Kopple (Alan Koppel), Randy James (Dodie James), Vicki Hill (Randy Hill); her Grandchildren, Gene Zufelt, Angela Smith, Ryan James, Saundra Yon-Wagner, Brent Kellogg, M’Lissa Kaysner, Jeremy Wagner, Jennifer James, and April Vander Pol; and 23 Great Grandchildren. 

At a private service in Mission Beach, Grandma Nana, as she was called by many, will be laid to rest. 

Her kindness, devotion, and love will never be forgotten. Her laughter, sense of humor and smile will forever live in our hearts.

November 23, 1944 – November 11, 2020

Frieda (Kat) Kathleen Williams II of V born November 23, 1944 beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great-grandmother. Frieda passed November 11, 2020 with her loving family by her side. 

She loved helping and working for her tribal community as a Community Relations Coordinator. She did the Tulalip Parades, Spee-bi-dah and many more events. She was also in Northern Exposure. She loved spending time with her family and friends. 

She is survived by her loving children, Frieda Cavanaugh III, Jonny Cavanaugh Sr., Walia Cavanaugh, and Joyia Kinlicheeney. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Frieda IV, Michael, Terence, Myron, Kathi, Leo, Goo, Mary, Jonathan, Jazlyn, Monica, Carmen, Salisha, and Talon; and numerous great grandchildren. Her loving memories will always be cherished. 
Preceded in death by parents, Charles Sr. and Freda Williams I; her brother, Charles Williams Jr.; grandson, Jonny Cavanaugh Jr. (BamBam); her soul sister, Leeta Barner; special cousin, Andy Thomas; and her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Beach Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.

March 28, 1983 – November 3, 2020

Carla Marie Cheer was born on March 28, 1983 in Everett, WA. She was well known for being a good mother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece and friend. She wouldn’t stop loving and enjoying life even when life’s struggles hit her, she kept fighting for her family. While bringing a lot of life and color into the world. Always making sure to shower her kids with hugs and kisses. She was a doting woman while also being benevolent to others throughout the community. 

Carla started working at a young age with summer youth than moved on to Tulalip bingo as a floor worker and also in the Bingo Deli. 

Carla was survived by parents Teen and Richard (Two Dogs) Muir; her children Alisyanna Henry; her father Adrian Henry; Adeyez Root his father Andy Root, Anthony Flagg his father Robert Jamal Flagg; and sister Aneeta “Hootchie” Cheer.

She was preceded in death by her father Stanley Cheer Sr.; brothers Kevin Cheer and Stanley “Chubs” Cheer Jr.; grandparents Violet Napoleon and Richard Spencer,Arnold Cheer Sr. & Barbara Cheer; nieces Naveah, Avialynn; and nephew Gavin.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Mission Beach Cemetery.

June 23, 1972 – October 29, 2020

Charles (Chaz) Sneatlum III, a Tulalip Tribal Member, was born on June 23, 1972 to his parents Charles R. Sneatlum Jr. & Janet D. Patrick. He entered eternal rest on October 29, 2020 at Tulalip WA. Charles led an active life as a Commercial Fisherman & Hunter, a Black Jack Dealer and Security at the Tulalip Casino and also worked with the Grounds Maintenance Crew for Quil Ceda Village.

Charles was preceded in death by grandparents Wesley & Joyce Patrick, Charles & Shirley Sneatlum, parents Charles Sneatlum Jr. & Janet Patrick, brother Edward Sneatlum, son Michael Sneatlum, grandson Louie Williams Jr. Charles leaves behind his mate Jenny Marteney. He also leaves behind his children James Dean Agulair, Charles Williams, Charles Sneatlum IV, Louie Williams, Mary Jane Moses, Shirley Mae Sneatlum, Janet Enick Sneatlum, Caitlyn Sneatlum, his grandchildren Ilena Spencer Williams, Isabelle Williams and nephew Baby Ed Sneatlum.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 from 9am to 11am at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at 12pm at Mission Beach Cemetery.

March 30, 1937 – October 16, 2020

Bert C. Robbinson passed peacefully in his home in Tulalip, Washington on October 16, 2020 following a long battle with cancer. Bert was born March 30, 1937 in Everett, WA. He was preceded in death by his father Orman Robbinson, mother Rosemary Stevens Robbinson, and his brothers Chuck, David, and Danny Robbinson. He is survived by his wife Cookie Fryberg Robbinson, children Bob (Sandy) Robbinson, Carol Wagner, Mike Robbinson, Leanne Fryberg, Steve Fryberg, Stephanie Fryberg, and Leonie Lindhorst; grandchildren Alisa, Rob, Chrissy, Jimmy, Albert, B.J., Brooke, Anthony, Bobby, Meika, Michael, Andrew, Randy, Anthony, Tyler, Steve, Rilla and DonDon (Double D); great grandchildren Sarah, Tela, McKenzie, Tyrone, Emma, Sadie, Koby, Kamrin, Kole, Aven, Alex, Chance, Melanie, Emily, Rian, Parker, and Carsyn; and great-great grandchildren Hazel, Troy, Arya, Elliana, and Rowan. His siblings Glen and Pat Robbinson, Steve and Sharon Robbinson, Robin Baker, Marilyn and Gary Bassett, and Karen Sue Robbinson, and many beloved nieces and nephews. 

Bert graduated from Longview High School in 1955. He spent most of his career as a computer programmer and systems analyst. A self-taught computer programmer in the early 70’s when computers were relatively new. He spent most of his career developing and analyzing computer systems for REI, Egghead Software, Nintendo, Continental Foods (Sysco), and Costco. He retired in 2000 and spent the remainder of this life being an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandpa to his family, as well as a great friend to many who loved and adored him. He loved watching football, especially the University of Washington Huskies and Seattle Seahawks, playing slots at the Q casino, and socializing with his dear friends at Don’s. All that said, Bert was rarely seen anywhere without his life partner of 40 years, Cookie. 

The family thanks all those who shared their love and friendship with Bert over the years, but especially when he was battling cancer. 

Bert Robbinson’s graveside service will be at Mission Beach Cemetery, Tulalip, WA on Wednesday, October 21 at 12:00 pm. There will be a procession from Shafer-Shipman to the cemetery at 11:20am just before the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Shaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.
